Cody Renegar is an independent hairdresser and celebrity hairstylist working between both coasts. His client roster includes Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz, Blythe Danner, and Carson Kressley, among others.

Cody began his career at just 18 at the prestigious Aveda Day Spa in Arkansas, where his talent was quickly recognized by Aveda’s lead style team. Within months, he was promoted to Cutting Director, traveling nationally to teach Aveda’s signature cutting techniques. He was later recruited by Bumble and Bumble | New York, which ultimately led him to Los Angeles after teaching a class there and falling in love with the city.

Shortly after relocating, Cody joined the José Eber Salon, working alongside José on the main floor and in his private styling room. He later returned to Arkansas to spend time with family, knowing his path would eventually bring him back to Los Angeles.That opportunity came when he was invited to work with the legendary Cristophe Salon in Beverly Hills, marking the start of his long-term independent career.

Today, Cody works with a private clientele and travels extensively—splitting time between Los Angeles, New York, Arkansas, and Washington, DC—to meet his clients wherever they are.

Known for a modern interpretation of classic hair, Cody specializes in both dry and wet cutting, creating effortless, wearable styles with seamless layers that enhance each client’s natural features, personal aesthetic, and lifestyle.

An influential voice in hair and beauty, Cody has been featured on NBC, Vogue, People, InStyle, Byrdie, and ELLE, among others.
